CASA EDY TEULADA 965740609
Good value al fresco fare
Casa Edy is located at 35 Av. Mediterráneo, the main street running through Teulada. From the street the
restaurant does not attract attention but once you enter, it is deceptively large in size with a substantial terrace providing a pleasant venue for al fresco dining.
There are two menus del día priced at €15 and €20 according to the main course selected. All but one of our group chose the cheaper menu yet curiously the more expensive meal was the disappointing one with a chewy entrecote for main course.
Amongst the starters were mussels served with a delicious soup, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, boquerones and a seafood platter – all good.
For main course we enjoyed baby squid, sole, lamb chops and pork fillet and these were accompanied by the house wines, both from Albacete and called Santa Negro, the white a Macabeo and the red a Tempranillo. Both wines were priced at the bargain price of just €4.
Desserts and chopitos completed our pleasant lunch costing a competitive €17.80 p.p.
